95. James⁷ Tisdall (Rose⁶ Mccausland, Oliver⁵, Oliver⁴, Alexander³, Andrew², John¹)⁽³²⁰⁾ was born in Ireland about 1748.⁽³²¹⁾ James died October 1797 at 49 years of age.⁽³²²⁾

He married Catherine Maria Dawson 6 March 1787.⁽³²³⁾ Catherine is the daughter of Thomas Townley Dawson.

James Tisdall and Catherine Maria Dawson had the following children:

145 i. James Thomas Townley⁸ Tisdall⁽³²⁴⁾. James died 15 December 1851.⁽³²⁵⁾

146 ii. Catherine Louisa Augusta Tisdall⁽³²⁶⁾. She married George Marlay 1828.⁽³²⁷⁾ (Additional notes for George Marlay⁽³²⁸⁾) George died 1830.⁽³²⁹⁾ Occupation: Lt-Col.
