8. Alexander³ Mccausland (Andrew², John¹)⁽¹⁷⁾ was born in Glenduglas, Scotland 1617.⁽¹⁸⁾ Alexander died 1675 at 58 years of age.⁽¹⁹⁾

He married Genet Hall about 1636.⁽²⁰⁾ Genet was born in Co. Meath, Ireland 1621.⁽²¹⁾ Genet⁽²²⁾ was the daughter of Edward Hall and Marjory _.

Alexander Mccausland and Genet Hall had the following children:

+ 9 i. Oliver⁴ Mccausland was born about 1637.⁽²³⁾

+ 10 ii. Andrew Mccausland was born 1639.⁽²⁴⁾

11 iii. Anne Mccausland was born in Co. Tyrone, Ireland about 1641.⁽²⁵⁾

+ 12 iv. Catherine Mccausland was born 1643.⁽²⁶⁾
