24. Conolly³ McCAUSLAND (Frederick², Col. Robert¹) was born in Ireland circa 1750. Conolly died on 26 March 1796 in Ireland, at 45 years of age.

He married Sarah McCAUSLAND circa 1780 in Ireland. Sarah was born circa 1760 in Ireland. Sarah was the daughter of Marcus McCAUSLAND and ? HEYLAND. Sarah died on 28 December 1821 in Ireland, at 61 years of age. He was the "3rd son" and was "of Streeve Hill, Co Derry". He married his cousin, Sarah, the daughter of his uncle, Marcus McCausland. He built a home at Streeve Hill which still stands today as the Streeve Hill bed and breakfast inn near Limavady.

Conolly McCAUSLAND and Sarah McCAUSLAND had the following children:

+ 39 i. Frederick⁴ McCAUSLAND was born circa 1785.

40 ii. Robert McCAUSLAND was born in Ireland circa 1787. He married Matilda ?. She was the "widow of Thomas Dallas".

41 iii. Marcus McCAUSLAND < was born in Ireland circa 1790. Marcus died in September 1822 at 32 years of age.

42 iv. Elizabeth McCAUSLAND was born in Ireland on (birth date unknown). She married Hugh BOYLE in Ireland.

43 v. Rachel Jane McCAUSLAND was born in Ireland on (birth date unknown). She married Marcus GAGE in Ireland. Marcus died in 1856.

44 vi. Sarah McCAUSLAND was born in Ireland on (birth date unknown). She married Rev Thomas TWIGG in Ireland. Thomas died in 1872. He was " of Pomeroy, Co Tyrone".
