83. Jacob Acord⁴ JONES (Matilda Elizabeth³ QUINN, John², John¹ QUIN) was born in Fremont County, IA on 2 October 1843.⁽²⁹⁰⁾ Jacob died on 24 January 1915 in Walthill, Thurston County, NE, at 71 years of age.⁽²⁹¹⁾ His body was interred 26 Jan 1915 in Walthill, Thurston County, NE.⁽²⁹²⁾

He married twice. He married Hannah J. HINKLEY 24 Dec 1865 in Mills County, IA. Hannah was born in 1849 in Indiana. Hannah was the daughter of Jacob HINKLEY and Eliza S. BANISTER. Hannah died after 1884. She was listed in 1850 in the Federal census in Grant County, IN. He married Alva (Alvy) JONES circa 1888. Alva was born in September 1872 in Mills County, IA.⁽²⁹³⁾ Alva is deceased.

Jacob was Farmer. On 18 August 1870 the Federal census listed Jacob, age Jacob Acord JONES! as head of household in Lyons Township, Mills County, IA(age 26).⁽²⁹⁴⁾

223 vii. Albus (Aubus) Alvin Lee JONES was born in Plattsmouth, Cass County, NE on 3 February 1884. Albus died on 11 July 1950 in Plattsmouth, Cass County, NE, at 66 years of age. He married Sadie ROUSE 1907. Sadie was born circa 1885. Sadie is deceased.
