He migrated circa 1780 to Minot, Maine.

Edward and Ruth's children, Joseph and Ruth, are listed in Bridgewater births although they are not mentioned in Mitchell's discussion of Edward and Ruth. Mitchell mentions Chloe and Leah. They are not listed in Bridgewater births although they are listed as being baptized in Bridgewater on the same day as children Joseph and Ruth. All are listed here, pending other evidence to the contrary.

398 ii. Leah PACKARD was born circa 1757. Leah is deceased. She was baptized on 26 January 1766 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, MA.⁽⁵³⁹⁾ She migrated after 1775 to Brookfield, Worcester County, MA.
