He married three times. He married Ruth BARRELL 1782.⁽⁹⁸⁷⁾ Ruth was born circa 1765. Ruth⁽⁹⁸⁸⁾ was the daughter of William BARRELL. Ruth died before 1788.⁽⁹⁸⁹⁾ He married Sally PERKINS 1788.⁽⁹⁹⁰⁾ Sally was born circa 1765. Mitchell indicates the three marriages for Robert Packard, but it is unclear who the mother was of some of the children. Some of the children of Sarah Hayward could actually have been children of Ruth Barrell. The years of birth of the children of Sarah Hayward are postulated only on the basis of the order given by Mitchell, who listed all sons before daughters when years of birth were unknown.
