178. Homer Calvin⁶ Elkin (Mary Ann⁵ McCausland, Alexander⁴, James³, William², James¹) was born in Smicksburg, Pennsylvania 4 March 1882. Homer died 5 January 1915 in Niles, Ohio, at 32 years of age.⁽¹²³⁾

He married Alta May Wireman in Niles, Ohio, 27 May 1908. Alta was born in Niles, Ohio 22 January 1887.⁽¹²⁴⁾ Alta was the daughter of William J. Wireman and Mary Ester Loveland. Alta died 20 July 1973 in Warren, Ohio, at 86 years of age.⁽¹²⁵⁾ Occupation: School Teacher. Lived on a farm near Niles Ohio in 1911.

Homer Calvin Elkin and Alta May Wireman had the following children:
