29. Alexander⁴ McCausland (James³, William², James¹) was born in Benchran, Co. Tyrone, Ireland October 1823. Alexander died 26 June 1909 in Co. Tyrone, Ireland, at 85 years of age. His body was interred in Clogherny Cemetery, Ireland.

He married Jane Elkin in Omagh Church, Ireland, 4 April 1846. Jane was born in Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Ireland 1820. Jane was the daughter of Robert Elkin. Jane died 30 December 1890 at 70 years of age. Her body was interred in Clogherny Cemetery, Ireland.

Occupation: Farmer & Church Clerk. Evidently a man of scholarly attainments, for he was Clerk in Clogherny Parish Church at the time of his death, having held that office nearly 40 years.

Tyrone, Ireland 23 September 1829. Alexander was the son of Robert Moore and Ann Morrison. Occupation: Farmer. Resided in Eskermore, Beragh, Co. Tyrone, Ireland in 1911.
