116. John Henderson⁶ McCausland (John⁵, William⁴, James³, William², James¹) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19 January 1873.⁽⁵²⁾ John died January 1958 in Lyndell, Pennsylvania, at 84 years of age.⁽⁵³⁾ His body was interred 15 January 1958 in Hopewell Church, Chester County, Pa.⁽⁵⁴⁾

He married Hannah Elizabeth Hadfield in Beaver Creek Farm, Chester Co, Penn., 19 March 1896. Hannah was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 27 December 1873. Hannah was the daughter of Thomas Hadfield and Sarah Leighton. Hannah died 12 July 1951 in Lyndell, Pennsylvania, at 77 years of age.⁽⁵⁵⁾ Her body was interred 15 August 1951 in Hopewell Methodist Cem, Chester Co. Pa. Member of the Hopewell Methodist church and active in church work. Resided in Downingtown and vicinity most of her life.

Occupation: Machinist. Lived in Downingtown, PA. Pitched for the Downingtown baseball club for several years. A machinist by trade. Worked for Collins & Aikman Corp., Bondsville and the Johnstone Engineering & Machine Co, Parlesburg.

287 vi. Mary Isabel McCausland was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 28 October 1902. Mary died 1991 in West Chester, Pennsylvania, at 88 years of age.⁽⁵⁹⁾ Resided in Philadelphia in 1958.
