113. Alexander Hamilton6 McCausland (John5, William4, James3, William2, James1) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 10 December 1865. Alexander died 7 February 1947 in East Brandywine, Pa, at 81 years of age.(47) His body was interred in Hopewell Church, Chester County, Pa.(48)

He married Anna Margaret Cook in 3902 Olive St., Philadelphia, Pa, 12 November 1902.(49) Anna was born in Chester Co, Pennsylvania 5 February 1876. Anna was the daughter of William Cook and Margaret Kerr McConomy. Anna died 1 January 1970 in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, at 93 years of age.(50) Her body was interred 3 January 1970 in Hopewell Church, Chester County, Pa.(51) Lived most of her life in East Brandywine Township and was a life long member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church; Guthriesville WCTU; a member of the Lyndell Grange for 67 years and the Downingtown Woman's Club.

Occupation: Farmer. Lived in Downingtown, Pennsylvania in 1911. As a young man he joined the National Guard and served in the regular Army during the Spanish-American War. He was a member of the Chester County Historical Society and a charter member of the Lyndell Grange and its 3rd Grand Master. Was active in the Hopewell Methodist Church and served as secretary and treasurer for more than 30 years.

Alexander Hamilton McCausland and Anna Margaret Cook had the following children:
