He married Hannah Elizabeth Hadfield in Beaver Creek Farm, Chester Co, Penn., 19 March 1896. Hannah was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 27 December 1873. Hannah⁽³¹⁷⁾ was the daughter of Thomas Hadfield and Sarah Leighton. Hannah died 12 July 1951 in Lyndell, Chester Co., Pennsylvania, at 77 years of age.⁽³¹⁸⁾ Her body was interred 15 August 1951 in Hopewell Methodist Cem, Chester Co., Pa.

Occupation: Machinist.
