2. Richard Coventry² FAITHFULL (William¹) was born in Ashe, Hampshire, England 19 December 1753.

He married Martha LEVERSUCH 6 October 1778 in Ashe, Hampshire, England. Martha was born CA 1755.

Richard Coventry FAITHFULL and Martha LEVERSUCH had the following children:

3i.Lt. Charles Complin³ FAITHFULL ⁽¹⁾ was born in Hampshire, England 1779. Charles died 13 November 1804 in India, at 25 years of age. He was killed in action at the battle of Dieg.

He was baptized 6 October 1779 in Winchester, Hampshire, England. Charles Complin Faithfull was, like his brothers, an officer in the Army of the East India Company. He served in the 4th Native Infantry Regiment with his younger brother, William Conrad Faithfull. A summary of his service record follows:
