17. Donald Stewart³ CRANNA (William², Alexander¹) was born in King Edward, Aberdeenshire, Scotland on 30 March 1873.

He married Barbara DUNCAN 24 December 1892 in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.⁽⁶⁾ Married at 4 Balmellie Street, Turriff (bride's family residence). Groom's parents: William Cranna, farm servant (deceased) and Mary Gaul Cranna, residence Meikle Hilton, Turriff. Bride's parents: William Duncan, labourer and Isabella Taylor Duncan, residence 4 Balmellie Street, Turriff. George Cranna and Jane Duncan witnesses. Alexander M Maclean, Minister.

Barbara was born in 1875 in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Barbara was the daughter of William DUNCAN and Isabella TAYLOR.

He was listed in 1881 in the United Kingdom census in King Edward, Aberdeenshire, Scotland at Westfield, age 8.

Donald Stewart CRANNA and Barbara DUNCAN had the following children:

20 i. Mary Susan⁴ CRANNA was born in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 19 August 1892.⁽⁷⁾ Born at 5 am, Youngson's Lane, Turriff, "Illegitimate". Father: Donald Stewart Cranna; Mother: Barbara Duncan; residence: Muirfold, Turriff. Mary died in 1985 in Scotland, at 92 years of age. She married Joseph SIMMERS.

+ 21 ii. William CRANNA was born on 6 December 1894.

+ 22 iii. John CRANNA was born in 1897.

23 iv. George CRANNA < was born in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland in 1898. George died in 1898 in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at less than one year of age.

24 v. Isobella (Tibby) CRANNA < was born circa 1900. Isobella died circa 1921.
